EventTechAwards 2015: Matey Events’ top list

If you would like to stay in the know of the best latest technology-related developments for the events industry, you are going to watch EventTechAwards. Not only it has already proved to be the platform for the companies to showcase their services to the events world, the Awards is remarkable for its categories, neatly covering usage of technolgy in a variety of event management aspects – from best event app to best event monetization technology to best use of gamification etc.

The Awards will be held on November 11, and there is a long shortlist of great companies offering great solutions to event professionals. For your convineince, we have made our own top and chosen several nominees to closely watch. Here are the first three:

InGo – this company got ‘Best event software’ award in 2014, and it is here again, and you won’t wonder why – guys working hard to make an event manager’s life so much easier with their offer. We all know it is a hard work to grow the event’s audience, and this service let your participants be your advocates. Thus, it basically serves the needs both of the organisers and the attendees – the former will get the audience growth, and the latter will get the quality networking.

Sli.do – beautiful idea and great execution by the international team. With sli.do, interaction with your audience goes up on a new level while providing organisers with a lot of interesting data. The platform allows for live Q&A, live polls and displaying results live. Moreover, it lets attendees follow the slides on any device, and share it as they get it after the event (note this last point – post-event stage is very important, and a service caring about it worth trying!)

In our view, sli.do is a must have for forums and conferences

TweetWallPro – this is the most interesting example of a social wall. There are many similar services on the market, but it is TweetWallPro that is nominated in several categories on EventTechAwards. This definintely means guys found such mix of elements that proves to be the best amoong the competitors. Judging by portfolio and feedback, TweetWallPro works equally well for different types of events – from Samsung Galaxy presentation to sport competitions to political forums and regional seminars.

To be continued.
