Home Thank you Our congratulations to SETsquared

Our congratulations to SETsquared

This is not quite typical post today: I’d like to say HUGE CONGRATS to SETsquared named best University Business Incubator IN THE WORLD this week.

SETsquared is the enterprise partnership of the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey ‘supporting high tech start-up companies, providing student enterprise and enabling academics to maximise the impact of their research’.

It’s really about various factors that contribute to this awesome achievement, in my view:

  • great team,
  • outstanding commitment to assisting start-ups and entrepreneurial community in their uneasy task of growing businesses,
  • meticulous selection of potential ventures,
  • ongoing development of the partnership itself, and –
  • great events that play important role in successful implementation of the Partneship’s strategy.

I am going to talk more about the SETsquared flagship event, Investment Showcase, later on – as it is a great example of how events are powerful instruments even in the tough world of business angels, investments and so on. Now, today is a great end of the week for my former SETsquared colleagues, so this is just to say – WELL DONE and cheers to you all,

Victoria
