MyEventVision

myeventvisionThis is a very brief post as I want to mention an initiative I really admire – myeventvision aimed at those who work in the events & meetings industry but really at all who might have interest in this field.

As organisers say, Myeventvision is a kind of a Dragon’s Den for the amateurs and event & meetingprofs. If you’ve got an original (great/unique/outstanding) idea for any type of event (be that a conference, a sporting event, a music performance, an incentive, a cultural festival or a trade show – anything can do (or perhaps, one has invented a truly new concept of an event?) –  then you should definitely take part and showcase your idea. The prizes are more than attractive: a full-time or freelance position with the Events International Group, £5 000 and investments into the winning concept. I say! The entries close on the 8th of Feb 2016.

Well, the only pity is that the current competition is open to the UK residents only. I think the initiative is so great that the next step should be getting it on the global level… So that eventprofs from other countries – including Russian ones – would also be able to unveil their potential.
