EventTechAwards-2015: Matey Events Top List. Part 2.

We have already written about EventTechAwards 2015 which is going to be held in London this November. There are plenty of nominees, so, as promised, we have made our second top list of companies providing with the most interesting and trending event-tech services.

Here is our TOP-3,  Part 2:

  • Eventopedia. This platform was launched in January 2015, and now it is nominated for the Awards. Not only this fact says it all. Eventopedia is a good answer to long-standing need of many organisers in the efficient and convenient way of searching for the event suppliers. What is also remarkable about Eventopedia is that it provides the possibility to look at reviews of suppliers by event planners. There is an upgrade version for suppliers with analytics tools (which is always a useful thing). There is only one “but” – the platform currently works in London, Dubai, NY and Monte Carlo only. It is definitely enormous scope, but it would be great to have other locations included. Let’s hope it is going to expand its geography reach soon.
  • HelloCrowd. In one of our recent Instagram posts we mentioned that making an event app is one of the most trending options now which adds to “mobile-friendly” event concept. We claim that making a unique event app is today’s tech-hit in events industry. It does require some knowledge and finance. And yes, there is still a question of how to make your attendees use it (upon downloading). But this is an issue to talk about next time. What is no doubt is that an event app has plenty of benefits. It definitely can be done for different types of events. HelloCrows helps to make a branding app for any event in under 10 days as they say. There are telling arguments to go for this option: improved networking and better engagement, sharing information with and getting feedback from your attendees, saving money on print and better value for sponsors and partners through increased publicity and visibility. In short, if you decide to get an event app – look no further than HelloCrowd.
  • SponsorMyEvent – this service provides for solution of one of the most important task for an event manager – finding a sponsor for their event. Genious lies in simplicity and SponsorMyEvent is the case: all you need to do is register, provide your event details and get the system do its job. Sponsors can find you through search or by receiving your invitation. Isn’t it simple and great?
