I have been reading lately about all things experiential: experiential learning, experiential tourism, experiential marketing; all of these are very interesting in the context of events and meetings. While every event & meetingprof definitely watches the space – if not attending – and remembers the dates for the leading international industry events, huge in its scale and influence (like IMEX or EIBTM), I thought it would be interesting to review some of the prominent events for the event professionals held in Russia. There is no doubt the Russian event market’s future is bright, and the events services are indeed a promising and fast developing sector at the moment. International experts and foreign companies are largely participating in the sector’s trade shows and forums, but I still feel for the majority of the specialists and companies outside Russia it may be foggy and challenging – mostly due to language barrier – to find the relevant info or links. So here is a list of the events for those eventprofs interested to touch the Russian ground and see what is happening here. The festive season is in full swing, the New Year eve is coming, and therefore our today’s post is somewhat a combination of various news and findings related to the current mood and season as well as to the events, of course. Such mix resembles the infamous Russian salad, or Olivier salad, which is a mix of quite a variety of ingredients together making up a tasty dish, and a traditional one to appear at every Russian family’s table for the New Year Eve. Thus we decided it would make perfect sense we’ve got our very own Russian-salad styled post.
In December we’ve got some remarkable event held in Moscow – the Russian Sponsorship Forum. Why I think it is remarkable? Well, first and most of all because it is the first of its kind in Russia. Surely, long sought after, as partners are key element for the majority of projects. And events.

Business incubators are not recent phenomenon, but it’s only few of them recognised as the best. It’s no surprise though: it is a combination of many factors that lead to such success.
